    "text": "وَقَدْ كانَ الشَّيْءُ الَّذِي أُلْقِيَ عَلى عاتِقِي فِي هَذِهِ التَّجْرِبَةِ بِاعْتِبارِي مَسِيحِيّاً هُوَ تَحْقِيقَ عَمَلِيَّتَيْنِ تَبْدُوانِ مُتَنافِرَتَيْنِ فِي الظّاهِرِ، وَلَكِنَّهُما فِي الواقِعِ تُكَمِّلُ إِحْداهُما الأُخْرى بِمُفارَقَةٍ مِنْ مُفارَقاتِ الحَياةِ: إِحْدا هَذَيْنِ العَمَلِيَّتَيْنِ فِدائِيَّةٌ، وَالأُخْرى خَلاَّقَةٌ. وَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُ المَغالَطَةَ الكامِنَةَ وَراءَ دِينٍ فِدائِيٍّ بَحْتٍ؛ ذلِكَ أَنَّ الإِنْسانَ لا يَتَغَلَّبُ عَلى ضَغْطِ المُمُؤَثِّراتِ الخارِجِيَّةِ عَلَيْهِ وَاسْتِعْبادِها لَهُ إِلاّ بِالفِعْلِ الخَلاَّقِ",
