    "text": "وَلَكِنَّنِي لا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَقُولَ إنَّنِي «اكْتَسَبْتُ» الحُرِّيَّةَ أَوْ تَجْرِبَةَ الحُرِّيَّةِ؛ إِذْ كانَتِ الحُرِّيَّةُ تَبْدُو لِي مَبْدَئِيّاً بِاعْتِبارِها الشَّيْءَ القَبْلِيَّ مِنَ الوُجُودِ. وَفِكْرَةُ الحُرِّيَّةِ تُشِيرُ عِنْدِي إِلى شَيْءٍ أَكْثَرَ أَساسِيَّةً مِنَ الكَمالِ نَفْسِهِ، ما دامَتِ الحُرِّيَّةُ هِيَ مِفْتاحُ الكَمالِ، وَفِي غِيابِها يَنْقَلِبُ الكَمالُ إِلى قَهْرٍ وَعُبُودِيَّةٍ، وَبِالتّالِي يُناقِضُ طَبِيعَتَهُ ذاتَها",
